WOULD YOU PROMOTE WIND POWER?
All respondents were asked, "If wind powered energy helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and that helps to reduce the threat of global warming, should farmers, industry and public institutions promote wind power as an alternative energy source?"
A vast majority (85%) stated farmers, industry, and public institutions should promote wind power as an alternative energy source. Significantly increased response rates were noted in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, and South Dakota.
Ten percent of respondents stated that wind power should not be promoted by farmers, industry, and public institutions.
Five percent of respondents stated they did not know.
