SHOULD GOVERNMENT PROVIDE FINANCIAL INCENTIVES
FOR WIND POWER?
All respondents were asked, "Do you believe that government should provide financial incentives to allow farmers like you to become involved in the wind industry?"
Sixty-two percent of respondents stated that government should provide financial incentives to farmers who want to become involved in the wind industry. Significant figures were noted in Michigan, Missouri, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
However, 31% stated that the government should not have to provide financial incentives to farmers who want to be part of the wind industry. Seven percent of respondents stated they don't know.
